Humidity grows it. We remove it

Pressure washing: high-pressure water at outdoor temperature, right for algae film, dirt, and general buildup on hardscape.
Power washing: heated water at pressure. Heat breaks down grease and oil faster, which makes it the choice for fuel islands, loading docks, and restaurant back-of-house pads.

Houston’s humidity accelerates buildup on hardscape: mildew on north-facing walls, algae film on shaded walkways, and persistent grease at drive-thru lanes. Moore Clean provides both commercial pressure washing and power washing across the region, from storefront walkways at Galleria-area and Memorial City retail, restaurant patios in Montrose and The Heights, parking structures Downtown and in the Texas Medical Center orbit, and office campuses along the Energy Corridor.

The commercial-grade difference is what happens to the water. Our rigs run full wash-water recovery. Sprayed water is captured at the surface, filtered, and disposed of properly instead of sheeting toward the curb. In a city whose storm drains run straight to the bayous, that single practice is what separates a responsible washing program from a costly cleanup.

Why it matters

Why does wash-water recovery matter in Houston and the Gulf Coast region?

In Houston, the storm drain is the bayou. Houston’s drainage network moves runoff to Buffalo Bayou and its siblings with almost no treatment in between, so whatever a washing job sends to the curb ends up in the water that runs through the heart of the city. The rinse carries grease, soap, and sediment with it, and capturing it at the surface keeps that out of the bayou.

For that reason the recovery system is part of every rig we send. Water is picked up as it is sprayed, the debris is filtered out, and disposal is handled off site, with a service record each visit.

Tagged wall? We handle graffiti removal too

Washing alone rarely clears a tag, and on porous block it can set the paint. We send tagged surfaces to our graffiti removal service for a surface-specific treatment, booked on its own or alongside scheduled washing.

Deep-clean option

Special Projects: Cyclone deep-clean surface system

Special project equipment option: Gulf humidity feeds a dark algae film that comes back quickly on shaded concrete, and drive-thru lanes collect grease on top of it. For a full reset we schedule a Cyclone Technology surface cleaner, rented per project. It cleans at high pressure under a closed hood and recovers its own rinse water, a method that fits EPA stormwater best practices, at a pace of up to 20,000 square feet an hour.

Questions

Houston pressure washing FAQ

How do you handle mildew and algae on walkways?

Houston’s signature problem. We treat organic growth with the right combination of pressure, heat, and surface-appropriate cleaners, then recover the wash water rather than rinsing it to the curb. On shaded walkways and north-facing hardscape, a quarterly cadence usually keeps growth from re-establishing between visits.

Where does the wash water go?

Not down the storm drain. In Houston that would mean straight to a bayou, so we capture the water at the surface, filter out debris, and dispose of it properly, with documentation you can file.

What’s the difference between power washing and pressure washing?

Heat is the difference. Cold high-pressure water clears algae film and dirt, and heated water cuts grease. Oil stain removal shows it best: new spots rinse out, old ones need hot water and dwell time. Our crews run both setups, with wash water recovered on each.

Can washing be bundled with sweeping and porter service?

Yes. The Property Maintenance Bundle is our most requested contract: lot sweeping on cadence, porter service maintaining the standard daily, and pressure washing resetting the hardscape on schedule. One vendor, one invoice, one standard across the property.
