Houston, TX Commercial Pressure Washing
Storefronts, sidewalks, garages, and drive-thrus cleaned to like-new, with full wash-water recovery that keeps every gallon out of Houston storm drains and the bayous they feed.
At a glance
Humidity grows it. We remove it
Pressure washing: High-pressure water at ambient temperature. The standard for concrete, sidewalks, storefronts, and building exteriors.
Power washing: High-pressure highly heated water or steam. Heat breaks down grease and oil faster, which makes it the right choice for drive-thru lanes, dumpster pads, and loading docks.
Houston’s humidity accelerates buildup on hardscape: mildew on north-facing walls, algae film on shaded walkways, and persistent grease at drive-thru lanes. Moore Clean provides both commercial pressure washing and power washing across the region, from storefront walkways at Galleria-area and Memorial City retail, restaurant patios in Montrose and The Heights, parking structures Downtown and in the Texas Medical Center orbit, and office campuses along the Energy Corridor.
The commercial-grade difference is what happens to the water. Our rigs run full wash-water recovery. Sprayed water is captured at the surface, filtered, and disposed of properly instead of sheeting toward the curb. In a city whose storm drains run straight to the bayous, that single practice is what separates a responsible washing program from a costly cleanup.

Why it matters
Why does wash-water recovery matter in the Houston region?
Because here, the storm drain is the bayou. Houston’s drainage network moves runoff to Buffalo Bayou and its siblings with almost no treatment in between, so whatever a washing job sends to the curb ends up in the water that runs through the heart of the city. Wash water picks up grease, oil, detergents, and fine grit as it works, and recovery keeps that mix on the pavement side of the drain.
Our answer is built into the rig: recovery-equipped systems capture wash water as it’s sprayed, filter the debris, and dispose of the water properly, with documentation for your records on every job.

Deep-clean option
Special Projects: Cyclone deep-clean surface system
Special project equipment option: Some pavement needs more than a standard wash, such as years of gum, grease, and embedded grime on Galleria-area plazas, downtown sidewalks, and garage decks. For those jobs we bring in a Cyclone Technology high-pressure surface system, rented for the projects that call for it.
The Cyclone’s enclosed cleaning head recovers wash water and slurry the moment it lifts off the pavement, cleaning up to 20,000 square feet an hour with no runoff to the curb. That containment is what the EPA’s stormwater best management practices call for on commercial wash-downs, and it leaves surfaces clean, dry, and back in service the same visit.

Questions
Houston pressure washing FAQ
How do you handle mildew and algae on walkways?
Houston’s signature problem. We treat organic growth with the right combination of pressure, heat, and surface-appropriate cleaners, then recover the wash water rather than rinsing it to the curb. On shaded walkways and north-facing hardscape, a quarterly cadence usually keeps growth from re-establishing between visits.
Where does the wash water go?
Not down the storm drain. In Houston that would mean straight to a bayou, so we capture the water at the surface, filter out debris, and dispose of it properly, with documentation you can file.
What’s the difference between power washing and pressure washing?
They are two different services, and the difference is water temperature. Pressure washing uses high-pressure water at ambient temperature, which is correct for most concrete, sidewalk, storefront, and building exterior work. Power washing uses high-pressure highly heated water or steam, and the heat breaks down grease and oil far faster, which makes it the right method for drive-thru lanes, dumpster pads, and loading docks. Moore Clean operates equipment for both and selects the method by surface and soil load, with wash-water recovery either way.
Can washing be bundled with sweeping and porter service?
Yes. The Property Maintenance Bundle is our most requested contract: lot sweeping on cadence, porter service holding the line daily, and pressure washing resetting the hardscape on schedule. One vendor, one invoice, one standard across the property.
